FIAS launched Sustainability Strategy 2030

International SAMBO Federation (FIAS), ISF's partner, has launched Sustainability Strategy 2030.

The goal of the FIAS Sustainability strategy plan is to adapt to the new requirements and make the FIAS events and activities more sustainable. The federation also aims to lead by example and serve as a role model for the SAMBO community, and other sports federations around the world.

FIAS based its strategy on supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030.The federation also released a sustainability report and sustainability event guide for the partners among other sports organisations. In 2019, FIAS joined the UN Sports for Climate Action Framework.

ISF signed the Memorandum of Understanding with FIAS in 2018. That same year, the first ISF WSC Sambo was organised, hosted by Russian Federation.
