Today saw the start of the ISF E-Sport Games, on 12 December 2020, with the qualification stage for Valorant. This second edition of the ISF E-Sport games which is being held online and is hosted by the School Sport Federation of Ukraine, will see two disciplines for teams to compete in: Dota2 and Valorant.
The qualification stage for Valorant saw a total of 23 players from four teams participate from Germany, Kazakhstan, Libya, and Russian Federation. After six games, the three teams that have qualified for the finals are Kazakhstan, Libya, and Russian Federation, where they will be joined by the team from Ukraine who automatically qualified as host. The finals for Valorant will be held on 20 December 2020 and will be streamed live on the School Sport Federation of Ukraine’s social media channels.
Four teams from Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russian Federation and Ukraine composed of 23 players will be participating in the Dota2 finals which will take place on 19 December 2020, with no qualification stage taking place in this discipline.

ISF E-Sport Games aims to tackle the issue of physical inactivity among young gamers, with the goal of motivating youth to combine computer-based sports with actual physical activity.
The ISF E-Sports Games is a combination of e-disciplines with different physical activities. This method demonstrates to the youth that it is possible to combine e-sports with traditional sport and improve oneself. The event harnesses the principles and values of commitment to education, equality, fair play, diversity, inclusion and innovation, especially among school-aged youth.
