ISF is deeply saddened by the loss of Luce Douady, ISF WSC Climbing 2019 champion

ISF is deeply saddened by the loss of Luce Douady, ISF WSC Climbing 2019 champion and a member of French School Sport Union (UNSS), and a brilliant young athlete representing French Climbing Federation at IFSC World Cups.

Luce Douady distinguished herself at the first ISF Climbing WSC in May 2019 in Aubenas (France) where she was crowned world champion, representing the French School Sport Union (UNSS).

In 2019, Luce Douady was also crowned IFSC Bouldering Youth World Champion and won the bronze medal at the IFSC Lead European Championship. She also placed fifth in the very first stage of the IFSC Bouldering World Cup in Vail (USA).

ISF will remember Luce, as a young talented climber full of life and hope. We would like to express our deepest sympathies to Luce's family.
