ISF General Assembly to take place in Belgrade, Serbia next week

On March, 3rd more than 100 delegates representing 65 countries are expected to attend an annual General Assembly meeting in Serbia’s capital Belgrade ahead of the 2020 sport season. The General Assembly is the supreme governing body of the ISF.

Three ISF Committee meetings (Sport, Management, and Education and Legacy Committees) will kick off a busy agenda in Belgrade; the day before the Assembly, March, 2^nd will see members gather for Continental meetings, a platform for strengthening cooperation in developing school sport in ISF members’ respective regions. It will be followed by Executive Committee meeting in the afternoon.

Among other topics, the General Assembly agenda will include preparation reports for the upcoming events, ISF development and sport vision as well as election of the new members of ISF Executive Committee. Following the General Assembly meeting, the delegates will attend Gala dinner, organized by School Sport Federation of Serbia that celebrates its 50^th anniversary.

ISF President Laurent Petrynka said, “The setting for this year General Assembly is very special. Our host Serbia celebrates 50^th anniversary of its school sport. In addition, our new competition format, ISF World School Games U15, will debut in Belgrade next year. I am looking forward to productive meetings and exchanges within ISF family.”
