On Wednesday, September 2, the Management Committee (MC) met at the ISF Office in Antwerp, Belgium, to discuss various topics. One of them was the agenda for the next Executive Committee meeting in Johannesburg, South Africa. Among all the topics that will be discussed, finance, ISF events for 2016-2017, and the designation of ISF events for 2018 are some of them.
At Wednesday’s meeting, the MC also followed up on the cooperation with International Sport Bodies, more specifically, the content of new Memorandum of Understandings with FIVB, World Archery, and FIDE chess.
Additionally, the MC went through the activities that will take place during the ISF Day, October 13, at the EXPO Milan 2015. For instance, visitors will here get the chance to participate in workshops with the overall theme of education through sport, and students between the age of 12 and 14 will have the opportunity to take part in 3×3 basketball games.
Another item on the agenda for the MC meeting was the next seminar for Event- & Communication Managers of ISF events 2016. The preparatory meeting for this will be held in November from the 8th until the 10th. Finally, it must be mentioned that several membership applications have been completed, which include Haiti, Cuba, Azerbaijan, and USA.
