The second edition of the Ivorian school cross country race

The Ivorian Office of School and University Sports (OISSU) organised the second edition of the international cross country race which saw participants from Morocco, Niger, Burkina Faso, Benin, even Europe – France and the hosts Cote d'Ivoire.

The event was held on 14 December 2019, organised under the leadership of the ISF EC Member and General Director of OISSU Mr Souleymane Kone Mamadou and supported by the Ivorian Minister of Defense Mr Hamed Bakayoko and Minister for Sports Mr Claude Paulin Danho.

Last year the event presented the launch of the new season and a celebration of the great work of the OISSU and their strong development of school sport in Cote d'Ivoire, and beyond. The goal for the future is to increase the participation of the young Ivorian school sport athletes in the international competitions and events.
