ISF and Mr Laurent Petrynka’s statement on the passing of Mr Patrick Baumann

With the greatest sorrow ISF and its president Mr Laurent Petrynka have learned of the sudden death of Mr Patrick Baumann.

ISF president, Mr Laurent Petrynka: “I am deeply saddened and shocked about the sudden passing of Mr Patrick Baumann, the president of GAISF, FIBA’s Secretary General and IOC member. Mr Baumann was a true champion of sport and a great supporter of school sport, ISF and our youth. On behalf of ISF, I would like to thank for his contribution to the development of grassroots and school sport. As one of the most influential people in sport, his legacy is endless and will be carried on by the future generations.”

 ISF and Mr Laurent Petrynka would like to express their deepest sympathies to Mr Baumann’s family.
