ISF World School Cross Country Championship Štrbské Pleso 2022: An Event for the Youth by the Youth

With the ISF World School Cross Country Championship 2022 nearly upon us in Štrbské Pleso, starting from the 22^nd to the 27^th of April, the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the Slovak School Sport Association are emphasising the importance of involving youth in all aspects of the event, with the implementation of a young journalists programme’, and a volunteers programme.

Four young girls, Ivica Olexová, Lucia Harabinová, Karina Kokoruďová and Lívia Mlčochová have been selected by the LOC to help in the overall promotion of the event, capturing the participation and success of the athletes as they experience this ISF event in Slovakia, while engaging in ISF and Olympic values.

Furthermore, as with all ISF events, a group of young volunteers have been chosen to support the overall running of the event, helping make this event an unforgettable experience for all the school student athletes attending from around the world.
