On 23rd January, the members of the Management Committee composed of the President, Deputy President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary and Sports Director held their first management committee for the newly year of 2017.
The agenda had set 3 majors topics which needed a particular attention.
The President opened the session with the feedbacks from the last Executive Committee in which crucial decisions were taken and put on the table for further discussion. A perspective which is in core line with VISION2030 and their main objectives.
Besides, the members studied the state of affairs of the organisation of all the upcoming World Schools Championships 2017, about to start in 7 weeks from now. A busy year with 11 Championships and a record of participation in almost all the championships. Those championships will be highlighted as never before thanks to the recent agreements with Rsportz, Baltic Broadcasting and an international press agency.
However, the Gymnasiade will also be one of the headlines of these upcoming months with the preparation of the next Gymnasiade in Morocco and the project launching an School Sport African Forum.
Additionally, there will be the evaluation visits in each of the candidate cities for the Gymnasiade 2020. The modalities and conditions of the visits were discussed and approved during the meeting.
The members also discussed about upcoming meetings with international federations and the cooperation that will be proposed.
The next management committee is scheduled on 24-26th March which will be focused on the preparation of the Executive Committee.
