Mr Roman Greba at the European Commission’s seminar on European Week of Sport Beyond Borders

Kiev, 28 October 2019 - ISF Executive Committee member Mr Roman Greba took part in the European Commission’s seminar on the European Week of Sport Beyond Borders.

The seminar was hosted by the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.

Mr Roman Greba was part of the round table on “New sports” where he presented ISF's newest projects and the work and the impact of the ISF. He highlighted that ISF follows the trends of youth and modernises its events to fulfil the current needs and wishes of the youngsters: She Runs Active Girls’ Lead, ISF Cool Games and the upcoming ISF E-Sport Games are some of the examples of the latter. The aim of the new ISF projects is to motivate the students to see the physical activity and sport as fun and positive activities.

Other guests in the panel were Mr Yves Le Lostecque, Head of the Sport Unit at the European Commission, Ms Maja Makovec Brenčič, former Minister of Education, Science, and Sport of Slovenia, Professor at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenian Olympic Committee and Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, Secretary General of EUSA.
