Sport Preparations Continue to Advance for the 18th ISF Gymnasiade Jinjiang 2020

On Friday 5 March, Presidents and Coordinators of the ISF Technical Commissions, ISF Sports Committee, China School Sport Federation (CSSF), and the Organising Committee of the 18th ISF Gymnasiade Jinjiang 2020 gathered online to further discuss the development of sports technicalities in preparation for the upcoming Gymnasiade in Jinjiang, P.R. China, taking place on the 16-23 October 2021.

Over 60 officials, including 18 ISF Technical Commission Chairs, their LOC Sport Directors and Venue Managers of all sports and their counterparts from the Organising Committee of the 18th ISF Gymnasiade Jinjiang, met to develop and advance the sport programme and to ensure the capacity and suitability of all sport infrastructures of this multi-sport event. During the meeting, all aspects of each sport were reviewed in their entirety to advance the process of preparation.

ISF President, Mr Laurent Petrynka welcomed everyone to the meeting and highlighted the ever-present positive spirit of collaboration between the ISF family, the CSSF and Chinese LOC, and was thankful for the smooth working cooperation that has always been present between the parties during these past months.

ISF Chair of the Sport Committee Mr Zeljko Tanaskovic, congratulated all parties in the meeting while underlining the importance of continuing with the present levels of enthusiasm during these challenging times we currently face.
